@Celialee: Thanks for the comment! Angshuman from New Delhi, IndiaGood wide picture Vikram. The light is harsh I guess, a bit more contrast perhaps? Like how the perspective is created with these Hoodoos! 16 Apr 2008 8:30am @Angshuman: You are right Angshuman... @kaneli: Thanks a lot friend! Observing from Chester, United KingdomFabulous vista over that spectacular landscape. Great shot. 16 Apr 2008 9:12am @Observing: I appreciate your comment! Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesA truly impressive vista ... the HDR treatment isn't as dramatic and contrasty as we usually see in HDRs on Am3 ... nonetheless, a beautiful image! 16 Apr 2008 10:06am @Ron: I wonder how people bring out such dramatic effects in HDRI. I am experimenting with some free tools. I will try to work with contrasts and see how it looks. Thanks so much for the comment Ron! @Ana Lúcia: Thanks you for visiting :) Alun Lambert from Cheshire, United KingdomWhat great view, it is just a fantastic place. 16 Apr 2008 11:29am @Alun Lambert: Yeah! Very beautiful place. But there is a funny and more realistic view. I think it was Ebenezer Bryce, one of the early Mormon settlers of this region, after whom this canyon is named, said; This is one hell of a place to loose a cow. Thanks for the comment friend! vu@granby - Wolfgang from Granby, Québec, CanadaVery good work! Is that a little snow I see in the foreground? 16 Apr 2008 1:55pm @vu@granby - Wolfgang: Yes that is snow! The snow caps on the hoodoos had just melted away. This place looks awesome in winter too! vu@granby Gilles M. from Granby, Québec, CanadaGreat capture of the Bryce Canyon. 16 Apr 2008 2:24pm @vu@granby Gilles M.: Thanks a lot Gilles :) paulski from Muncie, IN, United Statesquite beautiful. love the clarity, depth, and detail here. nicely captured... 16 Apr 2008 4:23pm @paulski: I really appreciate your comment :) Elisa from Massachusetts, United Stateswhat a beautiful view!! great capture! 16 Apr 2008 4:33pm @Elisa: Thanks for the comment Elisa... I am experimenting with free HDR tools. I will put some more HDR images in the future and hopefully they will be good on the eyes :) @Marie: Merci beaucoup Marie! @JosefQ: Thanks for visiting pal! Abhijeet from Columbus, United Statesvery good HDR viks...I have seen some hdr and they make me to think that hdr never makes picture natural but your hdr does.... 17 Apr 2008 1:08am @Abhijeet: Oh yes, in my first few attempts the images had very high colour saturation and looked like oil on canvas. They were good in a way but didn't look natural at all. I dont know the technicalities of HDR. I just did something and got this image and felt this one was better. Definitely this is not the best one. But I am trying :) @Jennifer Radio: Thanks for visiting and the comment Jennifer! Rags from Plano, United StatesWOW! I am totally blown away be the scenery. It is more than awesome. 17 Apr 2008 3:28am @Rags: I really appreciate this comment of yours friend! You should visit this place! Hercules from Jacksonville, United Statesnice!, however i would like to see this done in black and white, i think it will have more impact. try it. 17 Apr 2008 4:55am @Hercules: Yes, I will definitely do it in b/w. In fact I also had that thought in my mind. Thanks for stopping by! @objectif-p: Merci pour ces mots d'admiration:) Saeed from Tehran, Iranvery nice shot from exceptional place. i like this series. well done :) 17 Apr 2008 9:29am @Saeed: Thanks for the encouraging comment Saeed! drphoto from Newcastle upon Tyne, United KingdomHi Vikram, for a first attempt at HDR I think you have got it just right. The picture looks natural and not over processed at all. However, I would probably add a touch more contrast (or maybe jusr add more depth to the dhadows) because it is starting to look a little flat and also, I think it is overall a little blue, so you are losing some of the beautiful red tones of the Hoodoos. Dan 18 Apr 2008 4:11pm @drphoto: Oh yes... @Daroru: The place in real is spellbinding! Thanks for stopping by pal! Saneef from Bangalore, IndiaImpeccable! You definitely need HDR-ing to show this much of details! 21 Apr 2008 5:34pm @Saneef: I had same thought in my mind and thought this image was a good candidate for HDRI experiment. Still learning HDRI. Thanks for the comment! Do visit again! Barbara from Florida, United StatesMagnificent! Like a poster. Great work on the HDR. Not over done like most. 26 Apr 2008 4:33am @Barbara: Thanks for the comment Barbara! I am glad you liked the HDRing on this one :) |
